Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Laaka Mato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Klay Montez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Laaka Mato!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Klay Montez!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mato throws out a powerful jab.
Mato throws a hook but Montez avoids it easily.
Montez closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mato circles away.
Montez shoots in but Mato avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mato digs a good body shot into Montez's ribs.
Mato listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Mato fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Montez on the side of the head.
Montez ducks right into an uppercut from Mato.

It looks like Klay Montez has been cut.
Mato getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Montez takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Montez has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mato loads up on a big right hand but Montez slips the punch.
Montez takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Montez tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mato defends well and Montez ends up having to push Mato into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Laaka Mato has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Klay Montez.
Mato lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Laaka Mato seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mato lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Montez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mato swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Montez looks for a takedown but Mato sprawls well.
It looked like Mato wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Mato looks to land a right hand but Montez moved out of range.
Mato scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Montez misses with a head kick.
Mato scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Mato wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Mato stuns Montez with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Montez looks winded!
Montez walks into a stiff left hand from Mato.
Montez takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Montez has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mato finds it's way round the side to connect with Montez's head.
Mato is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mato lands with a shot to the body.
Montez takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Mato fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mato, as that shot connected.
Mato ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Mato looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Mato lands a nice hook to Montez's body. Montez takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Laaka Mato is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mato lands a nice shot to the body.
The fighters circle momentarily. Mato darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

That has opened up Klay Montez's cut even more.
Mato lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Mato works the jab nicely.

Montez is rocked!
Mato smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Montez is still on wobbly legs! Can Mato finish him?

Mato sends Montez crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Mato is motioning to the referee to let Montez up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Mato circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Montez tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Mato wins by KO!

After winning the bout, Laaka Mato thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
