Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Number Seventeen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sasha Parlsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sasha Parlsh has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Number Seventeen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sasha Parlsh!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seventeen has his takedown stuffed
and Parlsh connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Parlsh shoots in looking for a takedown. Seventeen tries to sprawl out of it but Parlsh keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Seventeen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Parlsh throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Seventeen fails in his attempt to clinch.
Parlsh should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parlsh moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Parlsh changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Seventeen tries to avoid it but Parlsh manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Seventeen to the ground. Seventeen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
It appears Seventeen was looking to counter with a kick there.

and Parlsh counters with a series of strikes. Seventeen will be more careful next time no doubt.

Seventeen tries to bum rush Parlsh with a series of wild strikes but Parlsh uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Parlsh lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Seventeen misses with a takedown attempt

Seventeen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Parlsh pushes Seventeen off and scrambles back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Seventeen shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Seventeen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Parlsh throws Seventeen to one side and escapes!

Seventeen tries to close the distance and clinch but Parlsh swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Parlsh counters with a three punch combo that has Seventeen backing up. Seventeen nods at Parlsh to acknowledge the strikes.
Parlsh lands with a nice combination. Seventeen backs away looking to recover.
Seventeen shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Parlsh counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Seventeen tries to move into range but Parlsh moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Seventeen throws a sloppy head kick
and Parlsh counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Seventeen is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Parlsh.

Seventeen looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Parlsh manages to pull guard.

Seventeen tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Parlsh defends well and Seventeen ends up having to push Parlsh into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Seventeen will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Parlsh up against the cage.

Parlsh has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Seventeen uses from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Parlsh holds on and takes a little breather.
Seventeen is stalling in the full guard.
Parlsh has a closed guard, preventing Seventeen from standing up.
Seventeen looking to sit in guard and control but Parlsh gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Seventeen is looking to sweep but instead, Parlsh has passed into half guard.
Seventeen tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Parlsh has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Sasha Parlsh showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Parlsh shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Seventeen eats them both and turns towards Parlsh to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Parlsh throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Seventeen on the side of the head.

As Seventeen backs off Parlsh throws a huge counter combo but Seventeen manages to avoid it all.
Oh Seventeen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Seventeen keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Sasha Parlsh comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Parlsh winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
