The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Larson.

Larson drives through with a takedown into guard.
Leznar is looking to stand back up but Larson counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Leznar.

Leznar is doing well to control the position and prevent Larson from advancing to side control.
The fighters are battling for position here. Leznar manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Larson stands up from guard. Let's bang!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Larson blocks the body kick.

Larson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Leznar to the mat! Leznar manages to get full guard.
Leznar wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Larson manages to pass to side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Leznar kicks off Larson and gets to his feet.
Leznar thows a body kick. Larson tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Leznar looks to throw the jab but Larson is out of range.
Leznar doesn't manage to clinch there - Larson circles away.
Leznar throws a right and a left that both miss.
Leznar tries a head kick but it misses.
Leznar throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Larson drives through with a takedown into Leznar's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Leznar manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Leznar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Larson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Leznar napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Leznar is trying to get back to half guard.

Leznar wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Larson has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Leznar's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Leznar is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Larson!
