Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Michal Hightower!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Joseph Raworth!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hightower lands a nice shot that snaps Raworth's head back.
It looks like Joseph Raworth has been cut.
Raworth shoots in looking for a takedown but Hightower manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Raworth's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A little feinted left hand from Hightower on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Raworth finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Hightower's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Raworth falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michal Hightower!
After winning the bout, Michal Hightower thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
