Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Great Bloodsport!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Luke Campion!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Alyssa Summers and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Campion pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Bloodsport back to the cage. Campion follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Campion looks to score with a jab to the body but Bloodsport is just out of range.
Campion throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Campion scores with a head kick. Bloodsport tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Campion lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Bloodsport avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bloodsport shoots for a takedown but Campion saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Bloodsport is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Campion.
Bloodsport cracks the inside of Campion's front leg.
The fight stays on the outside here - Campion looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bloodsport throws a lazy body kick
and Campion counters with a series of strikes. Bloodsport will be more careful next time no doubt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bloodsport closes this distance looking for a takedown but Campion circles away.
Campion tries to close the distance and clinch but Bloodsport swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bloodsport seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Bloodsport darts in looking for a takedown but Campion gets double underhooks and turns Bloodsport into the cage.
Horrible takedown attempt by Bloodsport or perhaps it was just good defense by Campion, which made it look bad.
Campion lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Campion fails to land with a series of punches.
Campion tries to clinch up but Bloodsport circles away and keeps his distance.

and Campion finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Luke Campion seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Campion tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bloodsport manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Luke Campion is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Bloodsport doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Campion counters with a head kick. That will keep Bloodsport thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Campion misses with a short punch on the inside.
Campion digs a right hand underneath Bloodsport's ribcage. Bloodsport let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Campion looking to slow down the pace here.

Campion breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Campion plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Bloodsport clinches up with Campion and pushes him back against the cage.
Bloodsport is trying to drag Campion to the mat but Campion just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Bloodsport drops down looking for an ankle pick but Campion pulls his leg out and moves away.
Campion throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Campion keeps Bloodsport at a distance using the push kick.
Campion throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Bloodsport moves into the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Campion has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Campion swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Campion has a couple of punches blocked by Bloodsport.
A short body shot lands from Campion as the two fighters clinch.
Bloodsport blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Bloodsport decides to pull guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Campion stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Bloodsport tries for a takedown but Campion sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Campion throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Campion lands a left and a right that send Bloodsport crashing to the mat, dazed. Campion thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Bloodsport is rocked!
Bloodsport dives in and grabs Campion's left leg, looking for a takedown. Campion pushes down on Bloodsport's head and hops out.
Oh Bloodsport is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Campion connects with a superb combination that knocks Bloodsport out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Campion before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Bloodsport!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Luke Campion!
A very excited looking Luke Campion made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
