The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King throws a lazy head kick

and Cairncross holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Cairncross escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

King has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cairncross is working away from the top position though.
King moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

King scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

That kick from Cairncross tenderised King's leg. King is trying to keep his angry face on.

King is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Cairncross looks calm but he's in trouble here. King gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Cairncross is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! King lets go of the hold and Cairncross can pop his arm back in it's socket.
