Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lars HoutKooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Pott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Lars HoutKooper has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Lars HoutKooper seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Pott.
Pott cracks HoutKooper with a big right hand but HoutKooper just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
HoutKooper is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Pott in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Check out the look on Pott's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

HoutKooper is looking to regain half guard here but Pott keeps moving and retains side control.
Pott really doesn't want to stay on the ground with HoutKooper. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Pott is looking to take a break and control but HoutKooper is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Oh HoutKooper is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
HoutKooper is letting Pott control him for a moment.
It looks like Pott might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Pott lands a strong strike to the head of HoutKooper. That's dazed him! Pott looking to finish here. HoutKooper is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Pott lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Jack Pott decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
