Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nanu Negi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Ching (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Negi's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Blue eyes. Ching has chosen E Ala E as his entrance music. The key to victory for Nanu Negi has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Negi throws a sloppy head kick

and Ching counters by clinching up.

Ching breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Negi scores with a nice strike.
Ching drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Negi shoots in for a double leg but Ching sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ching on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Ching is trying to control. Negi wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Ching bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Negi's guard.

Negi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ching with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Ching has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Negi is working away from the top position though.

Ching appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Negi dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ching. That did some damage!

Negi is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ching is just riding it out for now. Negi eventually gives up the hold.

Nanu Negi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Negi connects with a nice short shot to Ching's temple.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Negi seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Ching is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
