The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Wright scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Finkler doesn't seem bothered though.

Finkler throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wright was covering up waiting for the punch and Finkler finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Wright scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Wright tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Finkler tries to counter by closing the distance.
Wright lands with a slapping head kick.

Finkler shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Wright lands with a kick to the ribs.
Finkler blocks a head kick by Wright.
A looping hook to the body misses from Wright. Finkler does a little dance to reset his feet.
Wright cracks a nice hook into Finkler's ribs.

Wright misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wright looks to land a combination. Finkler sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Wright throws a lazy head kick

and Finkler counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Finkler tries to pass to full mount but Wright defends it.
Finkler passes the guard and advances to mount!
