The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loco tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Fernandez is able to avoid easily.
Loco looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Loco throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Loco defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fernandez.
Loco stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Loco displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fernandez.
Loco throws a big shot that misses.

Loco pushes Fernandez up against the cage in a clinch.

Loco breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Loco steps in with a hook that catches Fernandez right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Loco follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Fernandez looks absolutely devastated.
