Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark McCain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ask Fairchild (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCain comes to the cage accompanied by Hate by Jay-Z. Fairchild has chosen Jesse & Joy - Llorar as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fairchild will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
McCain tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fairchild swivels and escapes.

Fairchild connects with a good right hand that stumbles McCain. McCain circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

The crowd cheers as Fairchild lands an impressive looking overhand right. McCain doesn't seem phased though.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. McCain connects with a nice short shot to Fairchild's temple.

McCain is fighting to break Fairchild's control of his arms but Fairchild is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fairchild is on top in guard.

Let's hope that Fairchild has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
It looks like Fairchild might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mark McCain will probably get the nod.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

McCain shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fairchild manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

McCain got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fairchild has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McCain has managed to get both his arms back between Fairchild's legs - danger averted.
