Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between carlos boom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlo Gonzaga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonzaga has chosen Hit me Baby 1 more time = Britney Spears as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzaga showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from boom.
Gonzaga takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Gonzaga moves into the clinch successfully.
boom wants to break free but Gonzaga has control.
boom has Gonzaga pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Gonzaga manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
boom wants a takedown but no success here.
boom wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Gonzaga has him pressed against the cage.

Gonzaga jumps into guard, dragging boom to the mat.

Gonzaga is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
boom missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

boom drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gonzaga manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now boom has Gonzaga in his guard.
boom is breathing heavily.
Gonzaga slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

boom pushes Gonzaga away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Gonzaga gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Gonzaga has knee on belly and moves into mount.
boom wants to control but Gonzaga is having none of it.
boom is trying desperately to improve position.
boom tries to hold on but Gonzaga postures up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gonzaga content just to control the position here.

Gonzaga is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Gonzaga extends the arm and boom is forced to tap!
