The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Watson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Watson.
Wallace stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Watson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Watson doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Watson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wallace doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wallace manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Wallace stands and throws Watson's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Wallace is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Watson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

and Watson counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Wallace is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Watson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Wallace shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
