PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stacee Jaxee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valko Dragov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jaxee might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pour Some Sugar on Me by Stacee Jaxx. Dragov has chosen Go to Sleep - Eminem, Obie Trice, & DMX as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stacee Jaxee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Valko Dragov!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dragov misses with a low kick.
Jaxee tries to bum rush Dragov with a series of wild strikes but Dragov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dragov throws a nice looking combination but Jaxee bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jaxee was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Dragov manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jaxee on his heels. He'll look to pass Jaxee's guard now, I'm sure.

Jaxee bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dragov's guard.

Dragov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Dragov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jaxee defends it easily.

Jaxee got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dragov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jaxee has managed to get both his arms back between Dragov's legs - danger averted.

Jaxee is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dragov is just riding it out for now. Jaxee eventually gives up the hold.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Valko Dragov dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

No joy there for Jaxee, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jaxee throws out a powerful jab.
Jaxee keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Dragov misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jaxee.
Dragov shoots in looking for a takedown. Jaxee tries to sprawl out of it but Dragov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jaxee manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dragov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jaxee stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Stacee Jaxee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Valko Dragov.

Dragov closes the distance and clinches up with Jaxee, looking for a takedown. Dragov pushes Jaxee against the cage but Jaxee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
