Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bradley Dean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Riki Horiguchi!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horiguchi stuffs the takedown attempt from Dean. Dean gets slowly back to his feet.
Dean looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Dean gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Dean wants to get back to his feet but Horiguchi passes into half guard.
Horiguchi should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Still in half guard, Horiguchi seems content to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Horiguchi tries to stand but can't do so whilst Dean controls his leg.

Horiguchi content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Horiguchi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dean with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Horiguchi looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Horiguchi working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Horiguchi is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dean doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Horiguchi.
Horiguchi works his way into full mount!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A nice elbow there by Horiguchi.
Dean in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Horiguchi wants to get back to his feet but Dean is holding on tight.
Horiguchi landing strikes from the mount and Dean is in trouble!

Dean tries to control the position but Horiguchi now has his back.

Horiguchi is riding his opponent, not letting Dean buck him off.

Horiguchi is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Dean is tapping out! This one is all over!
