The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knott misses with a series of wild punches.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Knott has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
McLarnin throws a series of punches but Knott moves out of range.

Knott gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Knott misses with a shot to the kidneys.
McLarnin gets underhooks to prevent Knott's takedown attempt.
Knott has McLarnin pressed against the cage, preventing McLarnin from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Knott wants to take the fight to the mat but McLarnin manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
