The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kull throws a leg kick that misses.
Thomson shoots and misses
and Kull cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Thomson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kull as he avoids it easily.
Thomson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kull.
Thomson shoots in but Kull avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kull feints a counter leg kick.

Thomson takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Thomson shoots in for a double leg but Kull sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Kull is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Thomson is controlling him.

Kull closes the distance and clinches.
Kull lands an elbow that stopped Thomson in his tracks for a moment.
Kull is pressed up against the cage. Thomson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kull down to the mat. Kull avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Thomson is trying to drag Kull to the mat but Kull just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Kull lands a big head kick that sends Thomson tumbling to the mat! Kull takes a step backwards and waves Thomson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
