Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lance Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and wu xu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Lance Spencer has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Lance Spencer seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spencer is trying hard to land a takedown here. xu sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
xu is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Spencer shoots for a double leg takedown but xu sprawls well. He's pushed Spencer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

xu feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Spencer is trying to maintain a safe position but xu gets an underhook and turns Spencer into the cage.

xu has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Spencer avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Spencer has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, xu has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Spencer is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. xu defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
