Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mohamed Abdul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglas Kopejtka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mohamed Abdul!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Douglas Kopejtka!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abdul looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and Kopejtka counters with a three punch combo that has Abdul backing up. Abdul nods at Kopejtka to acknowledge the strikes.

Kopejtka changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Abdul looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Kopejtka wants to lay and pray for a moment but Abdul keeps working.
Kopejtka is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Abdul tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kopejtka wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Abdul is trying to control Kopejtka's posture but Kopejtka avoids it.

You can see the frustration on Abdul's face as Kopejtka controls the position.

Abdul takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kopejtka wants to lay and pray for a moment but Abdul keeps working.

Kopejtka tries to kick Abdul off but Abdul keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Abdul is taking a breather. Kopejtka says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Abdul thows a huge punch but Kopejtka dodges it nicely.

Kopejtka manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Kopejtka connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.


It looks like Mohamed Abdul has been cut.

Kopejtka feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Abdul is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Kopejtka pushes Abdul off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Abdul shoots in for a takedown but Kopejtka shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Kopejtka plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Abdul swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Abdul face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!

A very excited looking Douglas Kopejtka made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
