Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between George Alexander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake LaMotta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying LaMotta's choice of entrance music: Cavalleria Rusticana: Intermezzo. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaMotta shoots in for a double leg but Alexander sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
LaMotta looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Alexander seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

LaMotta gets tackled into the cage by Alexander. Alexander maintains the clinch.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, LaMotta creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Alexander is pressed up against the cage. LaMotta has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Alexander down to the mat. Alexander avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Alexander lands a big right hand that drops LaMotta! The killer instinct kicks in and Alexander finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Alexander!
