Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Felix Gaeta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lester Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gaeta comes to the cage accompanied by B.Y.O.B.. Felix Gaeta has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Hayes. No joy for Gaeta on that attempt.

and Gaeta counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hayes's guard now.

Hayes closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hayes lands in his opponent's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Felix Gaeta will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Gaeta distracts Hayes with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Hayes had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Gaeta is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hayes Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Gaeta's back instead.
