Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stanley Walters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Kall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Stanley Walters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Martin Kall!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kall moves into the clinch.
Walters gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Kall.
Walters looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Kall jumps guard but Walters turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Walters is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Walters manages to break the clinch.
Kall shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Walters pinned against the cage. Walters gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
As Kall looks to move away, Walters throws a big counter combo bu Kall just gets out of the way.
Stanley Walters has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Martin Kall.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Walters slips a jab and a cross from Kall.

Kall closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Good anti-grappling being displayed by Kall as Walters tries to tie him up.
Walters is looking to control Kall's arms but Kall gets an underhook and turns him. Now Walters has his back to the cage.
Kall tries to work over Walters's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Walters is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kall gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Walters gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Walters is controlling the pace.
Walters wants to stand up but Kall has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Walters is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Kall has managed to free his arm - good work.
The fighters are battling for position here. Kall manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Kall wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Kall controls Walters momentarily but Walters frees himself.
Walters won't allow Kall to get back to his feet.

Kall has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Walters can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Walters stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Martin Kall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kall lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Walters looks for the body kick but Kall saw that one coming.
Walters stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Walters wants it to stay on the feet.

Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Kall!

Walters looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Kall!

Kall bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Kall tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Walters defends well and Kall ends up having to push Walters into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Walters went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Kall looks winded!
Walters lands a leg kick that knocks Kall off balance momentarily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kall dives in and grabs Walters's left leg, looking for a takedown. Walters pushes down on Kall's head and hops out.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kall.
Walters shoots in for a takedown but Kall shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Kall drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Walters defends it well.

Walters rushes Kall and presses him up against the cage.

Walters wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kall has him pressed against the cage.

Kall's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Kall moves into range and clinches up with Walters.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Walters is trying to break the clinch but Kall has him pressed against the cage.
Kall is trying to drag Walters to the mat but Walters just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Walters stops a takedown attempt from Kall.
Walters goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Walters drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kall gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Kall jumps guard and drags Walters to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Kall has his foot on Walters's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Walters works his way back into a safe position though.

Walters throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kall tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Walters is in Kall's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Walters is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Walters is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Stanley Walters will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

Kall tries to bum rush Walters with a series of wild strikes but Walters uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kall tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and Walters counters with a left and a right that stings Kall.
Martin Kall seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Kall takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Walters wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Walters tries to score a body lock takedown but Kall shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Walters jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kall walks away with a smile on his face. Walters gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Kall misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kall shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Walters defends it nicely.

Kall rushes Walters and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Kall moves in looking to clinch but Walters pushes him off.
Walters misses with a takedown attempt - Kall sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Kall drives through and clinches with Walters against the cage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Martin Kall comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Kall has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
