Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bastian Peugiez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hung Ngyuen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ngyuen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Peugiez circles away.

Bastian Peugiez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hung Ngyuen.
Ngyuen shoots for a double leg takedown but Peugiez sprawls well. He's pushed Ngyuen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Ngyuen closes the distance and pushes Peugiez back into the cage.

Ngyuen has Peugiez pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Peugiez manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Ngyuen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Peugiez walks away with a smile on his face. Ngyuen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Peugiez shoots for a takedown but Ngyuen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
And Ngyuen tries to counter it with a takedown but Peugiez pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Peugiez shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Peugiez was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Ngyuen tries to lock up and control but Peugiez gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ngyuen has left one of his arms exposed and Peugiez doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Ngyuen screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
