Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Petey Flowers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petey Flowers looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Petey Flowers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Fred Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson throws a right and a left that Flowers avoids nicely.
Flowers really is a fat lump.
Jackson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Jackson misses with a two punch combination.
Jackson misses with a few strikes there.
Jackson closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Jackson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Flowers seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

and Jackson counters with a three punch combo that has Flowers backing up. Flowers nods at Jackson to acknowledge the strikes.

Flowers takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Jackson throws a series of punches but Flowers avoids them all with ease.
Jackson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Flowers momentarily.
Fred Jackson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Flowers takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Flowers has closed the distance and engaged Jackson in a clinch.

Jackson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Flowers on the side of the head.
Jackson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Flowers's head backwards.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jackson lands a slapping body shot.
Jackson darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Fred Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Jackson lands with a nice combination. Flowers backs away looking to recover.
Flowers has his takedown stuffed
and Jackson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Flowers moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Jackson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jackson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jackson cracks Flowers with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Flowers gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Flowers's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jackson closes the distance and lands a one-two.
A left lands for Jackson.

Jackson scores with a jab. Flowers acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Jackson has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Flowers on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Flowers takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Flowers darts in looking for a takedown but Jackson gets double underhooks and turns Flowers into the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Petey Flowers. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jackson throws a series of strikes that have Flowers backpedaling.
Flowers is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Jackson.

Jackson connects with a right hand. Flowers shakes it off.

Jackson lands with an uppercut that bounces Flowers off the cage and back into range.
Flowers shoots in for a takedown but Jackson shows good takedown defense.
Jackson works over Flowers's head and body with a nice combination.
Flowers looks for a takedown but Jackson sprawls well.

Jackson misses with a few strikes there.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jackson, as that shot connected.
Jackson lands with a hook. Flowers tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
The crowd cheers as Jackson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Flowers doesn't seem phased though.
Jackson lands with a good body shot.
Jackson throws a right and a left that Flowers avoids nicely.
Jackson is working the combinations to good effect here.
Jackson looks to land a combination. Flowers sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Jackson is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Flowers had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Flowers misses with a takedown
and Jackson counters with a one-two to the body.
Jackson moves into range and connects with a jab.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jackson tests Flowers's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A punch lands to the side of Flowers 's head but he takes it in his stride.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fred Jackson dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Flowers looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Jackson might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Jackson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.


Flowers is rocked!
You can follow us on Twitter at...Ooooooh Flowers got wobbled bad by a big combination! Jackson presses forward with punches and knees until Flowers stumbles to the ground! The ref watches Flowers closely before deciding to step in and end the fight!
