The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch but Zeitzer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Jackson's corner calls for a 1-2. Jackson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Zeitzer connects with a jab.
Zeitzer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jackson's waist but Jackson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zeitzer off to one side.
Jackson throws a right hand that Zeitzer ducks under and follows up with a left that Zeitzer also avoids with ease.

Zeitzer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jackson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Zeitzer looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Zeitzer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jackson pinned against the cage. Jackson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Zeitzer feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Zeitzer changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jackson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Zeitzer has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jackson's face.
