The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sweat takes a swing at Hines's ribcage but misses.
Sweat looks to land a right hand but Hines moved out of range.
Hines was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Sweat shoots in for a double leg but Hines sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Sweat has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Hines is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Hines shoots in and gets a takedown into Sweat's guard.
Sweat can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hines controls the pace.
Hines lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Hines advances to half guard.
Hines passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Sweat!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hines is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Sweat with him. Sweat is trying to defend but Hines has an arm under the chin now! Sweat grimaces and is forced to tap out!
