Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raphael Fields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwayne Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dwayne Peterson!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Peterson feints and as Fields raises his hands in defense, Peterson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Peterson in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Peterson is fighting to break Fields's control of his arms but Fields is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Fields really is a fat lump.
Peterson trying to control the position from guard on top but Fields is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Fields is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Peterson wants to control from the top but Fields keeps moving.

Fields has his foot on Peterson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Peterson works his way back into a safe position though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Peterson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fields sprawls well. Fields wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Peterson gets slowly back to his feet.

Peterson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Peterson is looking to take a break and control but Fields is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Peterson in particular looking to stall.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
We've been informed that Peterson has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Fields closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Peterson did well to prevent Fields getting side control.

Peterson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fields defends it easily.
Peterson controls Fields momentarily but Fields frees himself.
Peterson has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Peterson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Peterson looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Fields is defending well. Peterson quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Fields has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Peterson celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
