Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Konrad Husky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tarik Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Konrad Husky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Tarik Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Husky tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nice sprawl there from Husky as Johnson shoots in.
Johnson misses with a takedown attempt - Husky sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Johnson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

We've been hearing good reports from Husky's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Johnson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Johnson is looking for a sweep. Husky is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Husky seems to be looking for submissions.
Husky uses his free foot to push down on Johnson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Johnson.

Husky has hold of Johnson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Johnson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
