The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inurgurl changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Leidner tries to avoid it but Inurgurl manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Leidner to the ground. Leidner escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Inurgurl looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Leidner!
Inurgurl cracks Leidner with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Leidner tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Inurgurl wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Inurgurl scores with a couple of short elbows.
Leidner is looking to regain half guard here but Inurgurl keeps moving and retains side control.
Inurgurl cracks Leidner with a big elbow.
Leidner tries to bench press Inurgurl off him but Inurgurl keeps the position.
The ground and pound from Inurgurl seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
