Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Renaldo Mclean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rrank Ricard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ricard connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Nice uppercut there from Ricard.
A head kick misses from Ricard.
Mclean looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Mclean shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
It looks like Mclean is going to stand back up.
Mclean will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Mclean is nestled in close to Ricard, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Ricard wants to control but Mclean is keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ricard manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Mclean keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Mclean's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ricard should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Mclean slips a straight right by Ricard.

Ricard cracks a nice hook into Mclean's ribs.
Ricard gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Mclean counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Ricard looks to score with a jab to the body but Mclean is just out of range.
Mclean chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ricard can pounce on him.
Mclean rushes Ricard and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Mclean stalling.
Mclean is fighting off a takedown attempt but Ricard is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Mclean to the mat. Mclean regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Ricard throws an elbow that misses. Mclean uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ricard's guard. Nice move by Mclean!
Ricard really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mclean. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mclean stands up over Ricard, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Ricard is working an open guard so Mclean takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Ricard takes a swing at Mclean's ribcage but misses.

Ricard looks to land a body kick but Mclean moved away.
Mclean attempts a counter takedown but Ricard avoids it well and moves away.

Mclean gets to his feet. Ricard looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

and Mclean counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Mclean.
Mclean stands and steps away. Ricard gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Ricard misses with an attempted mid kick.
Ricard fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mclean manages to avoid it.
Mclean drops down looking for a counter takedown but Ricard sprawls and moves away.
Rrank Ricard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mclean fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ricard, pushing him back against the cage.
Come on Mclean - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Mclean is struggling to control the position.
Ricard manages to pull guard.

Mclean decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Mclean avoids a kick to the body.
Mclean looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
A low kick from Ricard is predictable there
and Mclean counters with a shoot takedown. Ricard fights it but they end up in guard.
Mclean has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ricard is proving hard to escape from.
Mclean chips away with some ground and pound.

Mclean stands and steps away. Ricard gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Mclean blocks a leg kick.
Ricard fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Mclean is out of range.
Mclean avoids the head kick by Ricard.
Mclean bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Ricard tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mclean lands with some strikes.
Mclean looking to isolate an arm here. Ricard doesn't see it coming and as Mclean extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Mclean!
