Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tristan Goossens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Subz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Subz has chosen Speak - Stop The War as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tristan Goossens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Subz looks to score with a jab to the body but Goossens is just out of range.
The fighters circling - Subz throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Subz thuds his right hand into Goossens's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Goossens defending well as Subz loads up on a big left hand.
Goossens keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Subz.
Subz misses with a looping left.
Goossens tries to bum rush Subz with a series of wild strikes but Subz uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Goossens ducks under a wild hook from Subz.

Subz misses with an uppercut. Goossens saw that one coming.
Subz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Goossens swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Subz throws a lazy right hand but Goossens sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Goossens defending well as Subz loads up on a big left hand.
Subz connects with a jab.
Subz misses with a hook.
No luck for Goossens with that takedown attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Subz looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Goossens closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Subz to the mat! Subz manages to get full guard.
Subz is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Subz is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Subz is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Subz thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Goossens's head.
Subz is tying to control. Goossens wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Subz is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Goossens is just riding it out for now. Subz eventually gives up the hold.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Subz in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Goossens tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Subz!
