Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Garver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ragnar Hjelmslev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Garver might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Carver. Hjelmslev has chosen I Touch Myself as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Ragnar Hjelmslev has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garver throws a big shot that misses.
It seemed like Hjelmslev was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Garver. Hjelmslev does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nice uppercut there from Garver.
Hjelmslev lands a really nice looking cross but Garver seems unphased.

It looks like Daniel Garver has been cut.
Garver scores with a head kick.
Garver cracks Hjelmslev with an open hand slap.

Nice uppercut lands for Hjelmslev. That snapped Garver's head back.
An inside leg kick from Hjelmslev misses.
Garver throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Garver connects with a looping right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Garver's jab looks to have found its range, popping Hjelmslev under the eye.

It looked like Garver was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Hjelmslev.
Ragnar Hjelmslev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Garver throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hjelmslev avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Garver throws a body punch but Hjelmslev moves out of range.

Garver slips a straight right by Hjelmslev.
Hjelmslev misses with a straight right.
Hjelmslev stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Garver rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hjelmslev moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Hjelmslev drops Garver with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Garver looks back up at him and smiles so Hjelmslev waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Garver is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hjelmslev measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Garver! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
