Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colin Croft (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ugor Makinwa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Croft's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, I Came to Play - Downstait. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
18 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Colin Croft!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
32 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ugor Makinwa!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good work by Croft as he checks the leg kick.
Croft moves out of range of the body kick.
Croft tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Makinwa was well out of range. Poor timing from Croft.
Croft dodges the punch combination from Makinwa.
A shot to the body from Croft misses
and Makinwa counters with a nice uppercut.
Croft throws a quick inside leg kick.
Makinwa misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Croft fires out a quick counter leg kick but Makinwa just manages to avoid it.
Makinwa falls off balance throwing a combination
and Croft counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Makinwa throws a leg kick
and Croft connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Ugor Makinwa has been cut.
Croft connects with an inside leg kick.
Makinwa drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Croft sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Croft regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Makinwa.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Makinwa lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Makinwa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Croft swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Croft controlling the position.
Croft had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Makinwa defends it easily.
Croft has control of Makinwa's left arm, preventing Makinwa from doing any damage.
Makinwa postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Croft is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Makinwa, into his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Croft pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Makinwa is keeping the position for now.
Makinwa looking for a sweep. Not yet Makinwa, not yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Croft trying to control but Makinwa is working from the bottom.
Croft decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Makinwa throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Croft counters with a good, hard body kick but Makinwa shrugs it off.
That's three minutes gone in the round.

and Makinwa counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Nice shot lands for Croft.
Croft throws a head kick that misses.
Makinwa moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Croft is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Croft thows a leg kick but Makinwa checks it
and Makinwa counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Croft on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Croft lands with a thumping leg kick.
Makinwa loads up on a big right hand but Croft slips the punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Makinwa throws a head kick that Croft semi-blocks.
Croft rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Makinwa counters with a good low kick that Croft was not able to check.

Croft steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Makinwa.
Makinwa shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Makinwa blocks the body kick.
Makinwa has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Makinwa moves out of range of the body kick.
Croft ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Makinwa moves away.
Croft bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Croft fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Makinwa has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Makinwa.
Croft checks a leg kick.
Croft throwing a counter right hand but Makinwa manages to avoid it.
Croft gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Makinwa tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Croft lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Croft throws a front kick aimed at Makinwa's knee but Makinwa avoids it well.
Makinwa takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
A solid body kick from Croft.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Colin Croft will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Ugor Makinwa's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Croft tries to work over Makinwa's front leg with a kick but Makinwa checks it.
Croft lands a really nice looking cross but Makinwa seems unphased.
Croft connects with a right hand. Makinwa shakes it off.
A head kick by Makinwa misses
and Croft counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Croft jabs Makinwa right on the nose. Makinwa blinks but takes it well.
Croft takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Croft tries to land a leg kick but Makinwa saw it coming and moves away.
Croft throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Croft connects with a crisp jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Croft throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Colin Croft is winning the standup battle so far.
Croft tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Makinwa takes one to the side of the head.
Makinwa is rocked!
Croft closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Makinwa! Croft dives in looking to finish! Makinwa is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Colin Croft!
Colin Croft took some time post fight to say the following; 'That is four in a row, that monkey is off my back. Nice fight Shortfuse but the Cage Cartel just don't quite cut it yet. '.
