Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edo Yaj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Sagat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Edo Yaj!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Victor Sagat!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sagat connects with a right hand. Yaj shakes it off.

It looks like Edo Yaj has been cut.
Yaj closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Sagat goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Yaj tried to counter with a leg kick but Sagat avoided it.
Yaj changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sagat tries to avoid it but Yaj manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sagat to the ground. Sagat escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Yaj with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sagat to score with a decent uppercut.
Yaj tries to close the distance and clinch but Sagat swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Yaj has a takedown stuffed.

Sagat drops Yaj with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Yaj looks back up at him and smiles so Sagat waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Yaj is rocked!

Edo Yaj's cut is getting worse.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sagat pushes Yaj away with a front kick.
Victor Sagat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yaj is breathing heavily.
Sagat comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Sagat instigates a clinch.
Sagat lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Sagat lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Yaj or not.
Sagat lands a nice shot to the body.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Sagat.

Edo Yaj's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Sagat lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Yaj.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sagat lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Sagat lands an uppercut.
Sagat lands an uppercut.
Sagat lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Sagat drops Yaj onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Yaj is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Oh Yaj is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sagat breaks from the clinch.
Sagat lands with a kick to the ribs.

Sagat closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Yaj seems to have got his legs back now.
Sagat lands a right hand that snaps the head of Yaj backwards.

Jeez, Edo Yaj's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Yaj takes a shot to the head.
A hook to the body from Sagat.
Sagat gets through Yaj's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
A short body shot lands from Sagat as the two fighters clinch.
Sagat dips a shoulder and cracks Yaj with a mighty uppercut! Yaj falls back against the cage and Sagat unloads with a barrage of strikes! Yaj is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Sagat screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
