Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Neal Mccall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Neal Mccall has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Neal Mccall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Harry Potter!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potter throws a lazy body kick
and Mccall connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Mccall closes the distance and clinches.
Potter stalling in the clinch but Mccall improves position.
Mccall has Potter pushed against the cage.

Potter jumps into guard, dragging Mccall to the mat.
Potter looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Mccall puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Potter tries to kick Mccall off but Mccall keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mccall is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Potter tries to get to full guard but Mccall has control of the leg.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mccall perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Potter has hold of Mccall's hands but Mccall slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Mccall prevents Potter from improving his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mccall keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Potter tries to get to full guard but Mccall has control of the leg.
Mccall tries to stand but can't do so whilst Potter controls his leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Potter is trying to control but Mccall manages to pass to mount!

Potter tries to hold on but Mccall pushes him away.
Potter gets back to half guard.
Potter manages to get to full guard.
Mccall controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Mccall would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Mccall postures up.

Mccall throwing strikes from guard but Potter blocks nicely.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Potter is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mccall is controlling him.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Neal Mccall is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Potter moves into the clinch.
Mccall dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Potter has Mccall pushed against the cage.

Potter pulls guard effortlessly.
Mccall really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Mccall got a little sloppy there for a moment and Potter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mccall has managed to get both his arms back between Potter's legs - danger averted.

Mccall gets to his feet - Potter follows without any prompting.

Potter closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mccall's guard.
Potter throws a strike but Mccall rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Potter is trying to hold Mccall in close to prevent damage but Mccall has managed to pass into half guard.
Mccall tries to stand but can't do so whilst Potter controls his leg.
Mccall is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Potter tries to get to full guard but Mccall has control of the leg.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Neal Mccall dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Mccall fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Potter, pushing him back against the cage.
Potter tries to break the clinch but Mccall is controlling the position.
Potter is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Mccall is keeping busy.

Potter gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Mccall manages to get to full guard.
Mccall has control of Potter's left arm, preventing Potter from doing any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Potter stops Mccall from standing up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Potter throws an elbow that misses. Mccall uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Potter's guard. Nice move by Mccall!

Mccall is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Mccall stands up from guard. Let's bang!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Mccall closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Mccall stalling the fight.

Potter has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Mccall uses from the top position.
Potter trying to keep a closed guard but Mccall is proving a slippery customer.
Potter being controlled here, momentarily.
Mccall continues to stall.

Potter looking for a sweep. Not yet Potter, not yet.
Potter wants to stand and escape but Mccall is having none of it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Potter just misses with a punch to the body.

Potter bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Mccall sneaks out the side door and pushes Potter away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Potter drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Mccall manages to escape and get back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Mccall moves into range and clinches up with Potter.
Potter is trying to stall.
Mccall tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Potter tries to break free but Mccall pushes him back against the cage.
Potter managing to block the knees to the body from Mccall.
Potter is trying to break free.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Potter pressing his opponent against the cage.

Potter drags the fight down to the ground.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Neal Mccall dominated that second round.
That's time! Mccall's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!



Potter has closed the distance and engaged Mccall in a clinch.
Mccall drops down looking for an ankle pick but Potter pulls his leg out and moves away.

Potter shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Potter showed some decent athleticism there.
Potter wants to pass to mount but Mccall is defending the position.
Mccall is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Potter can do to turn this around?

Mccall is not content to let Potter control the position.

Mccall wants to get back to full guard.
Potter is stalling here. Mccall is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Potter seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Mccall has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Potter is looking to regain half guard here but Mccall keeps moving and retains side control.
Mccall wants to stand but Potter has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.

Neal Mccall overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Mccall decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Potter fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mccall to the ground. Potter is now in Mccall's guard.
Potter is looking to work some ground and pound but Mccall has wrist control.
Mccall is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Mccall is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Potter gets full guard.
Mccall has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Mccall trying to stand up but can't free himself from Potter's guard.
Potter controls Mccall momentarily but Mccall frees himself.
Mccall's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Potter tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Mccall controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Potter takes the fight into the clinch.
Mccall effectively controlling the action here.

Potter has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Mccall clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
A lull in the action here.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Harry Potter.
Well Mccall has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
