Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boris Nedkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Ocheda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Boris Nedkov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Diego Ocheda!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Roberts and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nedkov keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Nedkov swinging wildly here.
Nedkov throws a lazy right hand but Ocheda sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ocheda darts in looking for a takedown but Nedkov gets double underhooks and turns Ocheda into the cage.

and Nedkov counters with a straight right hand.
Boris Nedkov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diego Ocheda.
Ocheda shoots for a double leg takedown but Nedkov sprawls well. He's pushed Ocheda's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

We've been informed that Ocheda has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Ocheda can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Nedkov is looking to escape.

Ocheda got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nedkov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ocheda has managed to get both his arms back between Nedkov's legs - danger averted.

Nedkov shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Ocheda eats them both and turns towards Nedkov to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Nedkov, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
