PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pikku Pioneeri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and To Madeira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pioneeri might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Lenin-setä asuu Venäjällä. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madeira connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Pioneeri takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Madeira cracks Pioneeri with an open hand slap.
Madeira lands a body shot.
Madeira jabs Pioneeri to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Madeira swings for the body but Pioneeri moves out of range.
Pioneeri drops down looking for a counter takedown but Madeira sprawls and moves away.
Madeira lands a glancing blow to the side of Pioneeri's head.
Madeira throws a hook to the side of Pioneeri's head but Pioneeri sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Madeira bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Pioneeri's head backwards.

Pioneeri is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Pioneeri has his foot on Madeira's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Madeira works his way back into a safe position though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nice uppercut lands for Pioneeri. That snapped Madeira's head back.
Madeira tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Pioneeri manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Madeira comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Pioneeri's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Madeira connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pioneeri scrambles back to his feet.

Oh Pioneeri is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
