Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Viktor Lagutenko and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monteiro lands a jab to the head.
Monteiro misses with a few strikes there.
Wong throws a quick counter head kick but Monteiro was just out of range.
Monteiro throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wong.
Wong takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Monteiro moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Monteiro scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Monteiro throws a series of punches but Wong avoids them all with ease.
A head kick by Wong misses
and Wong takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Monteiro lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Wong backs up against the cage.
Wong dodges the punch combination from Monteiro.
Monteiro rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wong moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Wong throws a body punch but Monteiro moves out of range.
Wong tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Monteiro counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wong throws a head kick that misses.
Wong walks into a left hand.
Monteiro misses with the combination.
Monteiro throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Wong pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A combination from Monteiro does no damage.
Monteiro misses with a jab, cross combination.
Monteiro looks winded!
Wong pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Monteiro's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Monteiro duly obliges.
Nice shot by Monteiro.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wong ducks under a wild hook from Monteiro.
Wong closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Monteiro to the mat! Monteiro manages to get full guard.
Wong is standing up over Monteiro. Monteiro looks to escape but Wong dives into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wong is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Monteiro looks calm but he's in trouble here. Wong gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Monteiro is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Wong lets go of the hold and Monteiro can pop his arm back in it's socket.
