The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rush throws a body punch but Marks moves out of range.
Marks throws a counter high kick but Rush was just alert enough to avoid it.
Rush darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Marks is trying to get back to full guard.
Marks wants to get back to full guard but Rush has passed into side control.
Marks is looking to reverse the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rush trying to control the action but Marks is working from the bottom.
Marks manages to work his way to half guard, despite Rush's best efforts.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Rush lands a nice short elbow.

Rush is nestled in close to Marks, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Rush scores with a big shot! Marks's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Marks! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
