The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice straight punches there by Thomas. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Thomas.
Duddy throws a hook but Thomas avoids it easily.
It seemed like Thomas was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Duddy looks to land a right hand but Thomas moved out of range.
Duddy jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Duddy moves out of range of the body kick from Thomas.
Duddy misses with the combination.
Duddy takes one on the button.
Duddy lands a two punch combo.
A combination from Duddy does no damage.
Duddy misses with a wild body shot.
Duddy throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Thomas throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Declan Duddy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Duddy throws a poor cross that misses
and Thomas counters with a low kick, right behind Duddy 's knee.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Duddy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Duddy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Thomas counters with a good low kick that Duddy was not able to check.
Duddy throws a jab when Thomas was well out of range.
Duddy throws a left and a right that both miss
and Thomas finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Duddy is breathing heavily.
Duddy takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Thomas goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Thomas ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Thomas ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Thomas uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Duddy.
Thomas digs a good body shot into Duddy's ribs.
Duddy walks into a jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Duddy walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Duddy is rocked!
Duddy walks forward, straight into a front kick from Thomas.
Oh Duddy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Thomas tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Thomas pounces like a tiger and cracks Duddy with a vicious hook! Duddy is down but not out! Thomas follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

After the fight, Ash Thomas was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
