The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reid decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Reid tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sellers knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Reid looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Sellers is looking to improve his position.
Reid is keen to just control but Sellers is a slippery customer.
Sellers wants to control but Reid is keeping busy and won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Reid wants to free his trapped foot but Sellers is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sellers tries to get to full guard but Reid has control of the leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Reid wants to stand up but Sellers has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sellers is working hard here to advance position.
Sellers has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Reid is working away from the top position though.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Sellers is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Reid trying to control the action but Sellers is working from the bottom.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Reid tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Sellers counters with a single leg into guard. Reid didn't expect that.

Reid manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Reid closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sellers's guard.
Sellers seems keen to control Reid's posture.

Sellers has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Reid can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Reid passes Sellers's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Sellers is trying to maintain the position but Reid is very close to passing his half guard.
Sellers is staying active underneath Reid, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Sellers wants to control but Reid is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Reid lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Sellers is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Reid's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Reid's back!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Sellers looking to break Reid's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Reid remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Sellers will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Sellers is breathing heavily.
Reid avoids the strikes from Sellers.
Sellers doesn't have the hooks in and Reid manages to turn into his guard.

Reid passes Sellers's left leg - he's now in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ryan Reid dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Sellers tries to close the distance and clinch but Reid swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
As Sellers backs off Reid throws a huge counter combo but Sellers manages to avoid it all.
Sellers doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Reid avoids the head kick by Sellers.
Sellers takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Reid lands a big head kick that sends Sellers tumbling to the mat! Reid takes a step backwards and waves Sellers back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Sellers is rocked!

It looks like Leslie Sellers has been cut.

Reid gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Oh Sellers is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Reid lands a takedown into guard.

Sellers kicks Reid off and gets to his feet.

Sellers gets tackled into the cage by Reid. Reid maintains the clinch.

Reid pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Reid shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Sellers is on queer street and Reid is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
