The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasquez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but miyagi swivels and escapes.

Vasquez tries a head kick but it misses.

miyagi stuffs the takedown attempt from Vasquez. Vasquez gets slowly back to his feet.

miyagi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and miyagi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
miyagi postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
miyagi forces his way into half guard.
