The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grant will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Grant uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Seyedi.
Seyedi pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Grant fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Seyedi manages to avoid it.

I was talking to Grant's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Seyedi buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Grant throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Grant scores with a one two! Seyedi had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Seyedi lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Grant goes down and covers up as Seyedi starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
