Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brock Lesnar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sanjay Singh!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Topper Green.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singh swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Singh throws a leg kick

and Lesnar counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lesnar.
Singh utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Lesnar in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Singh is looking to stand up but Lesnar isn't so interested in that idea.

Singh working for a triangle but Lesnar defends it easily.
Lesnar postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lesnar is standing up over Singh. Singh looks to escape but Lesnar dives into side control.
Singh tries to buck Lesnar off but Lesnar is having none of it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lesnar is looking to take a break and control but Singh is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Lesnar working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Lesnar throws a strike aimed at the side of Singh's head but Singh avoids it well.
Singh managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Lesnar.
Singh defending against the ground and pound.
The ground and pound from Lesnar seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Lesnar trying to control the action but Singh is working from the bottom.
Singh tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lesnar wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Singh is trying to control Lesnar's posture but Lesnar avoids it.
Singh tries to buck Lesnar off but Lesnar is having none of it.
Lesnar misses with the ground and pound.
Sloppy strikes there by Lesnar.
Singh wants to control but Lesnar postures up.
Singh parries the strikes from Lesnar easily there. Lesnar is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Singh to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lesnar is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Singh looks calm but he's in trouble here. Lesnar gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Singh is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Lesnar lets go of the hold and Singh can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Brock Lesnar!
A very excited looking Brock Lesnar made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
