Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Cameron Curry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taylor Atkinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Donald Grub and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atkinson bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Curry takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Atkinson throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Atkinson clobbers Curry with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Atkinson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Curry at a distance.
Atkinson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Atkinson throws a nice inside leg kick.
An inside leg kick lands from Atkinson.
A slapping leg kick lands for Atkinson.
Atkinson throws a hook to the side of Curry's head but Curry sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's one minute gone in the round.
An inside leg kick lands from Atkinson.
Nice body kick from Atkinson.
Atkinson throws a front kick that sends Curry stumbling back into the cage.
Atkinson throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Curry looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Atkinson throws a switch kick that catches Curry on the top of the head and drops him to the canvas! Curry looks hurt - I'm not sure he's going to get back up! The referee starts the count but calls it off at seven as Curry flops around on the canvas, clearly in no position to continue! This fight is over!
