Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Seth Duplesris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pithe Canthropus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

18 - 30 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Seth Duplesris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

37 - 34 - 2, fighting out of London, Pithe Canthropus!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Ron Honeybunn and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duplesris lets loose with a powerful body kick. Canthropus will feel that in the morning.
Canthropus throws a solid leg kick but Duplesris takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Canthropus.
Canthropus closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Duplesris did well to prevent Canthropus getting side control.
Duplesris tries to kick Canthropus off in order to stand up. Canthropus Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Canthropus gets to mount! Duplesris was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
The referee warns Duplesris that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
It looks like Seth Duplesris has been cut.
Duplesris slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Duplesris has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Canthropus is on him like a limpet, forcing Duplesris back against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Duplesris creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Canthropus landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Duplesris jumps guard but Canthropus turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Duplesris has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Canthropus after a bit of a struggle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Seth Duplesris. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Canthropus lands a good knee to the midsection. Duplesris won't want to take too many of those.
Canthropus digs a right hand into Duplesris's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Duplesris's gas tank.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Canthropus takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Duplesris is pressed up against the cage. Canthropus has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Duplesris down to the mat. Duplesris avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Canthropus shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Duplesris pinned against the cage. Duplesris gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Canthropus lands a jab.
Duplesris uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Canthropus.
Duplesris misses with a looping right.
Canthropus looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Duplesris!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Duplesris takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Canthropus scores with a couple of short elbows.
Duplesris is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Canthropus has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Duplesris is trying to improve his position.
Duplesris wants to get back to his feet.

Duplesris sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Duplesris has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Canthropus is working away from the top position though.
Duplesris kicks off Canthropus and gets to his feet.
Duplesris ducks under a wild hook from Canthropus.
Canthropus throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Canthropus looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Canthropus lands with an overhand left.
Duplesris misses with a body shot.

Canthropus darts in looking for a takedown but Duplesris gets double underhooks and turns Canthropus into the cage.
Seth Duplesris is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Duplesris scores with a sloppy right hand. Canthropus should have avoided that one.

Duplesris misses with a jab, cross combination.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Duplesris takes one on the button.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Duplesris throws a big shot that misses.
Duplesris scores with a hook to the body. Canthropus takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Duplesris scores with a punch to the head.
Duplesris missing with a left hand there. Canthropus was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Canthropus needs to keep his hands up - Duplesris had a free shot at his head there.
Duplesris misses with a looping left.
A head kick misses from Duplesris.
Canthropus scores with a head kick. Duplesris tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Canthropus looks for a takedown but Duplesris sprawls well.
Canthropus shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Duplesris napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Duplesris tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Canthropus is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Duplesris up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Pithe Canthropus will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Seth Duplesris's cut.
That's time! Duplesris's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Duplesris swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Duplesris looks to land a right hand but Canthropus moved out of range.
Canthropus looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Seth Duplesris is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Duplesris misses with a double jab.
Duplesris takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Duplesris is rocked!
Canthropus moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Oh Duplesris is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Canthropus cracks Duplesris with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Duplesris falls to his knees and Canthropus doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pithe Canthropus!
