Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Hendrix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jimmy Hendrix is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Hendrix!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Tyson !
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson throws a body kick that misses.
Hendrix drops down looking for a counter takedown but Tyson sprawls and moves away.

Tyson has closed the distance and engaged Hendrix in a clinch.
Hendrix has Tyson pushed against the cage.
Tyson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Hendrix tries to pull guard but Tyson holds him up against the cage and eventually Hendrix drops back down to his feet.

Tyson wants the takedown. Hendrix is fighting it off but Tyson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Hendrix's guard against the cage.
Tyson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Tyson wants to control from the top but Hendrix keeps moving.
Tyson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tyson tries to free his leg and advance position but Hendrix is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hendrix wants to hit a switch here but Tyson passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Hendrix there!

Tyson thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Tyson wants to control the pace but Hendrix is squirming around nicely.
Tyson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Tyson jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hendrix is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hendrix and Tyson has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Tyson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hendrix is just riding it out for now. Tyson eventually gives up the hold.

Tyson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hendrix doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tyson .

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hendrix is trying to get back to full guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Tyson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Tyson throws a right hand that Hendrix ducks under and follows up with a left that Hendrix also avoids with ease.

Tyson clinches up with Hendrix and pushes him back against the cage.

Tyson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Hendrix uses from the top position.

Hendrix is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Hendrix seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Tyson for as long as he can get away with.

Tyson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Hendrix tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Tyson just stands there and leans against the cage.

The referee is keeping an eye on Hendrix - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Tyson is trying to push Hendrix away but Hendrix has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Hendrix decides to pull guard.

Tyson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hendrix, up you get!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Let's hope that Tyson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
This is a sustained period of stalling by Hendrix.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Tyson will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Hendrix up against the cage.

Jimmy Hendrix showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Tyson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
