The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kahtin closes this distance looking for a takedown but Caruso circles away.
Kahtin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Caruso throws a body punch but Kahtin moves out of range.
Kahtin dives in for a single leg takedown but Caruso sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Koty Kahtin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Caruso gets tackled into the cage by Kahtin. Kahtin maintains the clinch.

Caruso breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Caruso misses with the combination.
Kahtin looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.

Caruso throws a big shot that misses.
Kahtin appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Caruso thows a leg kick but Kahtin checks it
and Kahtin counters with a left and a right that stings Caruso.
Georgie Caruso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kahtin slips a straight right by Caruso.
Caruso rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Kahtin counters with a big uppercut that knocks Caruso off his feet! Kahtin dives into side control looking to finish!

Caruso is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kahtin's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Kahtin! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Caruso has tapped! This one is allllll over!
