The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tobol shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ivanov but Ivanov pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ivanov slips a jab and a cross from Tobol.
Ivanov tries to work over Tobol's front leg with a kick but Tobol checks it.

Ivanov looking to score a takedown here. Tobol is defending well but Ivanov drives through and ends up in Tobol's guard.
Tobol avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Ivanov wants to control from the top but Tobol keeps moving.

Tobol has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ivanov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Ivanov with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tobol leaves Ivanov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Tobol feinted with a counter takedown.

Ivanov throws a nice looking combination but Tobol bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Ivanov counters with a series of strikes. Tobol will be more careful next time no doubt.

Ivanov is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Tobol like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Tobol from another fist facial!
