Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jay Dee BJ!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Emmanuel Jung!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
BJ gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Jung scores with a hook.
Horrible takedown attempt by BJ or perhaps it was just good defense by Jung, which made it look bad.
Jung throws a right hand that BJ ducks under and follows up with a left that BJ also avoids with ease.
BJ throwing a counter right hand but Jung manages to avoid it.
BJ moves to clinch but Jung breaks away
and Jung cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Jung throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and BJ counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Left hook, right uppercut from Jung.

Jung gets tackled into the cage by BJ. BJ maintains the clinch.
Jung looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

BJ gets a trip takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
BJ thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jung's head.
Jung is trying to escape back to his feet but BJ uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Jung tries to escape but BJ is in control.
Jung is looking to regain half guard here but BJ keeps moving and retains side control.
BJ has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jung wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
BJ throws a strike aimed at the side of Jung's head but Jung avoids it well.
BJ lands an elbow.

Jung is rocked!

BJ looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Jung is still in real trouble! Can BJ finish him?
BJ cracks Jung with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! BJ immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Jung is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by BJ!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jay Dee BJ!
